I heard on the radio about the Hot Air Balloon Festival in Anna, TX... which is about 20 mins drive from us, so we thought we'd check it out. We got there too early and there wasn't much to do for Anna... we did ride the carousel and then we played in the park closeby, but by then it was only 4:30 and the balloons weren't going to launch til 6:30 (we thought it was 6), so we decided to go eat dinner somewhere... but they said we'd have to pay our $15 to park again if we came back, so we just decided to save the hot air balloon experience for later! 
Instead, we decided to go to the downtown square in McKinney and wander around a bit and find some dinner. We ate at a place called The Pantry Restaurant and had a lovely time wandering around. Apparently there is some McKinney thing with these frogs, cause they were in front of several businesses... Anna liked this one in front of the Londoner Pub. :)
