YEA for Playing in the Park!

Today it was sunny and in the 60s!!  So, we HAD to go to the park for a bit!!  It was lovely!

Auntie Ang was over and came to enjoy the sunshine, too!

Anna zoomed up this for the first time.

And then... Anna became a tree hugger.  heehee  She hugged all the trees around the park and was saying 'I like trees!'  She also said 'Anna did it!' after she came down the slide.  She's saying sentences.  whoo hoo!

Everytime we go to Babies 'R Us, we have to spend some time with Mickey on the way out.  At least she doesn't realize that if you put money in it, it does something... we've never put the 50 cents in!! :)  Oh, but she does always want my keys to start the golf cart.  And she has to give Mickey some hugs.

A Lovely Day

Today we had lunch with some playgroup friends at Chic-fil-a. 

Then after nap, we decided it was warm enough for a walk to the park.  It was a bit windy, but pretty and sunny.  Mark even came over to play for a bit!

Day 2 of our Lovely Snow!

Fortunately, Mark schmoozed his way home from Vegas last night, despite a lot of craziness at the DFW airport!  Here's what we woke up to this morning...

While Anna was playing with her Daddy, she caught herself in her net and thought it was funny.  I thought she looked like a pantyhose robber!

We waited til just after lunchtime, but before too much snow melted to go out for more snowman building!  Anna and Mark had a grand ol' time.

He's got sunglasses, a chalk nose, m&m mouth, Mark's hat from when he was little, and my scarf. :D

Snow Part II

I was a nice Mommy and let Anna play in the snow for awhile.  We made a miniature snow man.

Here she's adding a little more to his top.

He got grape eyes, a goldfish nose and a chip for a mouth.  She kept trying to eat it all. :)

Then we checked out the backyard for a bit.

This is what we woke up to in our backyard this morning.  And it is still snowing, although I see some evidence of melting, too.  It's so pretty!

This is as close as Anna has gotten so far... guess I may have to let her go outside later!

Superbowl Party Fun

One of our friends hosted a Superbowl party for us... we had much fun.  Anna made herself right at home when she climbed up in their bed and pretended to sleep.  Her friend Rachel thought it was funny and joined her.

Party Time at McDonald's

Today Anna went to a birthday party for her friend, Connor.  First was a little play time in McDonald Playland.

Anna and Auntie Ang do a whole lot of dancing around the house... but yesterday they decided to do some leg lifts.  Aren't they cute?

Anna's New Cool Potty Seat!

Today I installed Anna's new potty seat!  I saw one like it at my friend's house and thought it was fabulous! :)  The child seat magnetizes to the lid and stays out of the way unless you pull it down.  They're available at Home Depot.

We got home today and she decided it would be fun to get into her toy box.
