Playgroup Easter Party & Egg Hunt

Today we had much fun at the playgroup Easter party!  We started out by dyeing eggs.  Anna is very proud of her pretty green egg!

Then we had some yummy lunch... Anna ate a good lunch then had a cupcake!

Then it was time for the Easter egg hunt.  It was a gorgeous day... and she had to climb up and slide a couple times before she could hunt eggs.

A Pretty Day to Relax

I had my 34 week appt today and Luke is doing great.  He is a bit low, but I wasn't surprised by that!  I'm not on bedrest, but supposed to be doing 'limited activity.'  Hope Anna is on board with that!  ha!  She did good this afternoon... we mostly played around on the back porch... well, I sat in the chair and Anna played in the sandbox and did everything else she could in the backyard :)  It was a lovely afternoon!

Sunday School Shower

The sweet ladies from my Sunday school gave Luke a diaper & wipe shower today.  It was lovely!  There was an ice cream sundae bar!!

Potty Training Wrap-Up and Girls' Night!

So, the potty training didn't happen in 3 days and I kept it up for another day and a half but Anna just wasn't quite ready... we are going to keep trying not so intensely and see what happens, but I'm not going to stress about it!  She'll figure it out someday ... maybe when she helps me change Luke's diaper.  heehee!  Tonight, I went to the Cheesecake Factory (YUM!) with some friends for Girls' Night out and had a wonderful time.  Mark got to go to watch the Baylor game on tv with a friend (they won by a landslide, so he was happy, even though it wasn't a very exciting game) and we had the babysitters come over to watch Anna... so I think we all had a great night!  Anna had the undivided attention of twin 15-yr-olds, so I know she had fun :)

Potty Training - Day 2

Yesterday was day 2 of potty training and we had a lot more trips to the bathroom... mostly we didn't make it in the potty, but she would at least tell me and head that way!  It was a fabulous weather day, so we had to go out and play in the sandbox a little bit after nap!!  Notice our fine sandbox attire on potty training day :)

Day 1 of Potty Training!

Today we started potty training!  I would call it rather uneventful so far, but I was figuring on that since she doesn't seem to go very often.  We've been stepping up the water and adding juices and even some popsicles, but we've only been 3 times so far... we're doing good so far!  This is a picture of Anna with her new playdoh ice cream shoppe that I got on sale at Target.  It seems to be a big hit for potty training entertainment. :)

St. Paddy's Playgroup Party!

Today we had the playgroup St. Patrick's Day party here at the house.  It was much fun!  Here's the spread and some of the guests.

This weekend we came to Waskom for our last time before Luke is born.  We got in lots of visiting with grandparents and family and friends.  Nicole and Daniel were here to visit, too.  They enjoyed some time together on the swingset...

A Day at the Gym

Today we were supposed to go have a picnic with our playgroup, but it was raining and lightning at the time, so we diverted to this gym.

Anna mostly just wanted to play in the foam pit!  I told her if she got stuck, I didn't think I could come in and get her!

Yesterday was a gorgeous one that got into the 70s, so we played in one fun park in the morning...

And our neighborhood park in the afternoon.  Anna has decided she likes the trees better than the playground.  Here she's collecting acorns.

And here she's back to tree-hugging... and this time with Auntie Ang!
