Can't Stop Travelling!

Well, we are at it again... planning a cruise to the Western Caribbean in May... I've booked us on the Carnival Conquest for May 20 and decided to see who else I could persuade to accompany me. So far I have a total of 10 people... if anyone else is interested, let me know! The itinerary is:

Day 1 - Leave Galveston

Day 2 - At Sea

Day 3 - At Sea

Day 4 - Montego Bay, Jamaica

Day 5 - George Town, Grand Cayman

Day 6 - Cozumel, Mexico

Day 7 - At Sea

Day 8 - Arrive Galveston

A Bit of Furniture

Our furniture finally arrived tonight at almost 8pm. One purchase for our living room is this fun chair!Here is the dresser from our bedroom set... we got several pieces - I liked the curves in this style.If you come to visit us, you will get to sleep on this lovely bed.And last, but not least... Mark's favorite furniture... the triple recliners for the media room!

A River Runs Through It

Out behind our house, we usually can see a nice little walking path and a tiny little creek next to it. When the rains came a couple of days ago, there was quite a change... a huge, almost-river was now flowing behind out house! It was pretty crazy! It has settled down a little but today is icy!!

New Addition to the Family!

My mom is becoming afraid that this may be her only grandkid... My brother & sis-in-law decided to get a kitty this year... and her name is Max... so I guess she is my niece :D She does make an awfully cute picture!

Dancing or Dining?

Here's a picture of Ang & me in the dining room... it has nice wood floors and it may be awhile before we get furniture for this room, so my friend, Melissa, suggested we use it for dancing... tall people beware of the light fixture! Photo Courtesy of Ernestine :)

One of Ang's favorite feature's of the house is the fun clothes putter-upper that came in the closet... here she is demonstrating how to hang a shirt on the top level. heehee

Home Sweet Allen

We are mostly moved in and getting things in order... so far we really like our new city of Allen, TX. It is located just next to Plano, TX. We got to entertain some visitors the other day as Ang, Ernestine & Leonard came thru on their way to the airport. We had a lovely visit! Here's the front of the house...
