Fun with PaPa & JuJu

Anna had lots of fun with PaPa and JuJu while we had our weekend getaway. Here she is ready to go to church. And here she is in her sleeper with her hippo crocs trying to play in the trash...
And here she was helping PaPa sweep the kitchen...

And Anna didn't have great naps, but usually conked out in her stroller at some point...

Anna doesn't like to be fed much anymore... she much prefers to feed herself... especially with a spoon!

Thanks so much for keeping her, PaPa & JuJu, so we could have a little weekend away... we had a lovely time!!

More Cabo!

Here was our view back to the Sheraton as we lounged on the beach.

Mark had to get this as his souvenir... just call him Macho Libre!

We did leave our resort to go into town for dinner and had a nice meal at a place called Mi Casa. They had the best corn tortillas I've ever had and my meal was fabulous! It was octopus, fish, shrimp and scallops cooked in a yummy sauce inside a shell with cheese on top. Mmmm!

Vacation in Cabo!

My parents came to keep Anna this weekend so we could have a little getaway in Cabo san Lucas, Mexico. We are having a lovely time and Anna is doing good with JuJu & Papa! Here's Mark and then me at our breakfast spot yesterday.

We were on the beach about 2 hrs reading and getting some sun... and not too much sunburn :)

Mark and his gazillion points got us this special gift at the Sheraton... hopefully Anna will like her!

Stroller Skating!!

This week for playgroup, we went stroller skating at the local roller skating rink. They offer this every Thursday for a few hours. :) I was a little worried about me on skates, so I talked Auntie Ang into coming to push Anna and I took pics from the sidelines!! (I really had to twist Ang's arm... haha! jk - she LOVES to skate.) Here's a few of the girls, including Ang and Anna.

I accidentally paid even though I didn't need to since I wasn't skating... so we went to see if they had any tiny skates... and they did! Anna enjoyed them!

My friend, Kim, also decided not to skate, so Ang took her kids out for a spin, too. She even did some of her fancy manuevers... skating backwards!

Happy Birthday Marley!

Today Anna got to go to her friend Marley's first birthday party. I couldn't believe she wore the hat for a bit! It's better to eat cake on the grass... the birds can clean up later!

I don't know if you can tell what Anna is holding, but it is something from her party favor bag... bubbles in a container that looked like an ice cream cone... Anna loved it!

Dancing and Hairdos and Swimming

Last night we drove to Waskom for a long weekend. We went briefly to Auntie Barbara's last night to see her ducks. Anna also got a dancing lesson from cousin Nathan.

This morning, Anna and her Papa got matching hairdos.

Then we went swimming at Granny Jannie's pool and Anna and Nathan both had fun and really liked the cute chairs she got them.

Swimming Fun

Last week our playgroup met at our friend Lauren's house for a pool party. It was a little cool, but fun. Here's Anna in her swimming attire.Sunday night our Sunday school class met for a pool party... it was lots of fun! Here's Anna having fun climbing stairs and posing with her Daddy...

A Model is Born

Sweet Baby Daniel!

My mom got to go and play with Baby Daniel this week. He is just shy of two months old... here he is having tummy time. And trying out a sleeper...

Zoo Excitement

Today we went to the Ft. Worth Zoo and had a really fun day! Here we are on the train... And we had to have the usual picture on the alligator.

A Day in Dallas

Yesterday, our friends Clara and Amanda arrived after a long drive. YEA! Today we took the DART downtown and wandered around and had ice cream. Then we came home and went for a lovely swim. Here are the girls in their cute matching outfits.

Happy 33rd, Mark!!

Poor Mark got home after 9 last night (due to a flight delay) and had to leave before 6 this morning to head to Austin. But I got up and gave him his birthday cards and presents. :) He got these items to aid him in using his beloved Big Green Egg. Hopefully he'll be home soon to try them out. :) And sweet Auntie Ang is babysitting for us Saturday night so we can have a birthday date. YEA! Thanks, Auntie Ang!

Catching Up...

I have been a bit under the weather for a few days and am just now feeling better and catching up with my blogging! Anna got a pretty good ouchie the other day when she opened a cabinet door and hit her head on it. Under all the blood though, it was just this big. Phew!
