I gave Dad his birthday present a few days early today... footed pajamas just like Anna!  He's so excited! :D

A Fun Weekend in College Station!

This weekend we went to College Station to visit friends and so Mark could go to the A&M/Baylor game.  Here's Anna after she lost her pants and tried on Aunt Tami's shoes.

Saturday morning we went to the local bounce house and it was out of business!  We had to go home... and no one was happy!

A Little Early Thanksgiving!

Yesterday we had our playgroup Thanksgiving party and had lots of fun!  A couple of us were there a tad early and those girls had to immediately start eating! :)  JuJu got to go with us and I think she had fun!  Of course the girls thought the cupcakes would be a great appetizer... they're trying to talk JuJu into giving them several!

We also had a fun craft and made an Indian headdress :)  I had to snap this picture very quickly before Anna took it off.

An Afternoon at the Park

Today Miss Anna got up at 4:30am.  Whoa!  Luckily her Daddy was  home and took her upstairs while I got a few things accomplished downstairs... then I went to have a lovely lunch with Ang!  When I got home Anna was napping because she had fallen asleep in her highchair while eating lunch.  :O  After nap we went as a family to a fun park in Allen and let Anna run out all her energy.  It must have helped a little cause she slept til a smidge after 6 today.  Phew!

Yesterday, I told the doctor that Anna could eat with a spoon... but I did say, not well. :)

And last night I finally made a list of her words and came up with about 25.  Some she uses often are: please, hi, bye, mama, dada, bow, up, more, shoe, juice... and she also can say 'oh.... Toodles' (which is really funny - it's from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse) and she likes to say Elmo.  Another fun word she just started saying yesterday... is her name!!  YEA!  Oh, and one day she actually put two words together and said, 'More, please'... but that was the only time so far!

I Love my Solid Girl!!

Today was Anna's 18 month checkup and everything looked good.  I thought she was behind on talking, but he said she might be a little ahead. :)  Her stats were 27.6lbs (87%), 34" (96%) and 85% for head.  The doctor called her solid!  And just for some pics, here are a couple from a 2-yr-old birthday party we attended a few days ago.  Anna had much fun playing outside.

Playing at Willowbend

We don't make it to Willowbend Mall very often, but I just love this play area... and yesterday Anna and I were there in the late afternoon and practically had the place all to ourselves... she had much fun!

Next Year...

I hope Anna wasn't saying this is what she wants to be next Halloween... I couldn't tell for sure. :D
