A Full Day of Halloween-ing!

We had a great, busy day today!  It started with a visit from some of my college friends, which was much fun!  Then, after Anna finally had a nap, the evening festivities started.  First, we went to a pre-trick-or-treating party in our neighborhood.  Anna had fun playing with the kids.

She also enjoyed the food!

Next we went to our church's fall festival that had lots of fun booths and games.  Anna enjoyed them, although she wanted to stay at several, but we had to move along and let others go!

Finally, we came back to our neighborhood for trick-or-treating.  Anna enjoyed knocking on doors and wanted to go inside every house and visit!

The most amazing part is that she wore her wooden shoes through the whole evening of festivities!  She loves those things!  She went to bed about 45 mins past her usual bedtime, and hopefully that will convert to sleeping late for tomorrow's fall back time change!

Playgroup Costume Party!

Today we hosted the playgroup Halloween Costume Party!  It was much fun!  In my costume, the new baby was saying, 'Hey Mom!  Can you loosen these ties??'

Trying to see how many kids we could get in a picture!  This was towards the end, so they weren't really having it!  We had much fun, though!  Now Anna is crashed for a nice nap.

Boo at the Zoo

Tonight we went to Boo at the Zoo, which was at the Ft. Worth Zoo.  It was fun, but a little crowded and late for Anna. :)  She did make an awfully cute little Dutch girl, though!

Noah's Ark!

This is my latest felt feat.  And yes, I used a pattern :)  There were several more animals I could've made, but I was too intimidated by the ones with spots and stripes!!

Fun at the Gym

Yesterday we went to a local gym that has preschool play time.   Anna had lots of fun!  Here she is on the trampoline, although she doesn't totally get how to jump... she was more marching or something!

In the foam pit... I know Auntie Ang would have loved this playgroup!!

Maybe this is why she started pointing at the Taxi Driver on her 'What do you want to be when you grow up' page of her book!

This whale they attached to a trapeze thing was a hit with everyone!!

Pumpkin Patch Time!

Just for fun, here is Anna last year with the pumpkins.  It sure was easier to keep her in one spot and get her to look at me then! :D

Today we went with our playgroup to the Celina Pumpkin Patch.  For the entrance fee, we also got a cup of feed and a pumpkin to take home.  Here's Anna and her friends feeding goats.

Then we went out to the patch to pick a pumpkin to take home.  Mostly she just wanted to run around, but she finally decided on a pumpkin.

McKinney Community Center

Today we went to the McKinney Community Center where they have toddler open gym for an hour for $1.  They had a couple bounce houses, balls, ride-on toys, and some crawl-thru things to play in.  Anna had lots of fun, despite the couple meanies who took her ride-on toy and ball. :)  Oh and I forgot to take off her shoes for the first bounce house, but did as soon as I could catch her!  Oh and these are her high-water pants... they're from last year, but I could still get her in them :D

Playing While They Golf

Some husbands went to play golf yesterday afternoon, so the wives and kids decided to get together for some playtime.  Anna had much fun!

A Fun Evening with Friends

Tonight we invited some friends over for steaks cooked on the big green egg.  The kids had fun playing!

A Wiggly Fun Time

Yesterday we went to the Wiggly Play Center for playgroup... the kids had much fun!

They even managed to share a seesaw three ways!
