Wichita Falls & Amarillo

Yesterday we stopped briefly in Wichita Falls to change a poo diaper, so we decided to go view the falls while we were stopped.

Last night we ate at the Big Texan, home of the 'free' 72 oz Steak. Anna would have tried it, but she still doesn't have any teeth.

And right next to our hotel last night, there was an ice cream shop, so we both blew our diets and had some ice cream. I had a butterscotch sundae and Mark had a banana split. Anna had a small scoop of vanilla. :D

Anna slept great last night and we all got up about 5:45 and got ready and headed out. We stopped for another poo diaper change at the New Mexico Travel Center then travelled on to Santa Fe, NM, where we have seen several sights. Anna has been a good girl and is now napping in her carseat in our hotel here in Santa Fe. I'll post pics from our day later!

Amarillo by Morning...

Hi all! Here is sweet baby Daniel with his eyes open and his hair showing! We made it to Amarillo and everyone slept good - we were all in bed just after nine and Anna got up about 5:45. Hopefully we'll be on the road to Santa Fe soon!

Walking and Packing

Baby Daniel has Arrived

Hi all! I'm an Aunt!! Baby Daniel arrived this morning about 5am and weighed 7lbs, 1/2 an ounce, and was 20" long. Nicole and Daniel are doing good (I think Stephen is, too haha). Hopefully I will get a picture of him soon!

We head out on vacation to New Mexico tomorrow and will end up by heading to Houston to see Daniel on the 26th!

Good Times...

We had a fun playgroup at the park this week. I think Anna is trying to surf here. And today Anna and I actually made it to the gym for the first time in a long time! I had a 25 minute workout and then we went swimming. Anna had lots of fun!

Anna's First Easter!!!

Anna woke today in her bunny pjs and came to explore what the bunny left. Mmm... marshmellows!

Pretty Easter Dress!

I had been holding out hope for awhile that she wouldn't need the coordinating sweater, but as the forecast kept getting colder and colder, I broke down Friday and bought it!

We had a wonderful Easter and enjoyed celebrating it and Auntie Ang's birthday with her today!!

Dyeing Eggs and Partying at the Park

Anna was helping dye some Easter eggs today, but got to play with the plastic egg after she smashed a real one.Here's the finished eggs minus one.This afternoon we went to the Heritage Park Botanical Gardens in Grapevine to have fun and have a birthday party for Auntie Ang! We took picnics and played in the park. Here's Anna getting into the basket and sitting on my GiGi's quilt. I thought this was lovely of all of us!
