Here is Anna sitting by the newly installed gate. Does it look like she is plotting ways to get around it and over it? I had to be a bit creative with the installation. As you can see, I had to go to the second stair because the left wall is diagonal on the first one. And then I had to deal with the wrought iron post on the right... so I added a couple of black zip ties for extra sturdiness. :)
Today at the store, I put these on Anna... and I mean... I couldn't leave without them, could I?!?

I am so blessed to be married to an engineer.
An engineer who did a "pretty good" job
You absolutely could NOT leave without those. She looks like a little DIVA.
Starting when Sophy was about 9 months old (which was when she started crawling out of her crib--beware!!), she would sit on the floor all neat and prissy and start slowly taking off her shoes and socks. We knew when we saw her doing that that she was about to climb whatever obstacle was in her path. It was like a lady taking her gloves off, only she was removing her socks and shoes...to climb something. Haha. Hope the gate holds! And the glasses are sweet!!
Nice job on the gate, Sar! We'll be calling you for tips. :) And yeah, you couldn't leave the store without those glasses. Too cute! And I love her pose.
too cute! and you are so handy!
