Happy Valentine's Day!

Monday, we celebrated Valentine's with our playgroup and got a cute pic with Amanda's decorations.

 Tuesday, I made Anna some fancy heart braids.  She loved them!

This was a fun idea I saw on Pinterest that I just had to copy!  I tried to do one with Luke, but he wasn't so cooperative. :)

A friend snapped this at school of Anna and two of her best buddies, Sloane & Ava.

Mark & Anna went on a Valentine's date to the hockey game, so since we were all wearing red, we snapped a quick family shot. :)  Hope you all had a lovely Valentine's!

This and That

Saturday, I had the pleasure of visiting with 3 of my dear college friends - Tami, Melissa & Stana.

Anna and I finally worked on her room and got her polka dots up.  She LOVED putting them on the wall!

Trip to Sint Maarten & Anguilla

Mark and I had a lovely little vacation to the island of Sint Maarten (that's the name on the Dutch side where we stayed.  It's St. Martin on the French side.)  Here's a beach shot close to where we ate dinner one night.

One day we took a ferry ride over to the island of Anguilla.  Here's where we ate lunch by the beach and then we just read and relaxed by the gorgeous beach! 

And here is a shot of our fabulous rental car.  Here we are on the French side of St. Martin in the city of Marigot.

This is the Guavaberry Emporium in Philipsburg on the Dutch side.

The last three are at Maho beach where we had lunch and watched the planes land just before we had to go to the airport and fly back.  Some of them land REALLY low! :)

Fun at Allen Celebration

Wow!  I'm really behind on blog posts!  Here's a few fun pics I took this month... there's a park with some nice painted walls that has this purple wall by a bathroom... makes a cute background for Anna!

I could not get Luke to stand next to the colored walls when he could see the park... and he did not look at me the entire time we were there... I at least captured one smile!! 

Where did November go?

Wow... I can't believe I only did one blog post in November!  Where did it go?  We had a fun trip to Colorado with lots of great photos, but I must find them and put them on my laptop so I can share them!  Here's a couple random pictures of our Christmas tree.  Anna had fun helping me decorate and Luke continues to have fun helping un-decorate. :)

I realized I haven't taken many pictures in November, but had a few on my phone... so these are mostly cell phone pictures!

And here we are at Lowe's picking out some paint for Anna's new room.  We will be switching around several rooms and it will be a lengthy process.  First Anna will move to the larger bedroom upstairs, then Luke will move upstairs to Anna's old bedroom, then the guestroom will move downstairs to the old nursery!
