Playgroup at the Frisco Heritage Museum

Today we met for playgroup at the Frisco Heritage Museum.  We got lucky and their computers were down, so we all got in for free instead of paying $4 per adult.  Here's a group pic of all the kiddos.  It's much easier to take one when they're all strapped in to strollers!

I was hoping Anna would learn to look and listen under this sign.  haha

After the museum, we got around to the good part... lunch at Babe's Chicken House... sooooo yummy!!  After Babe's the kids played on the cute chairs outside Babe's.

Happy Birthday, Auntie Ang!!

Yesteday was Auntie Ang's birthday!!  Doesn't she look lovely??

Anna REALLY enjoyed celebrating with Auntie Ang... this is her 2nd piece of cake.

Anna's Gone to the Grandparents' and 8 Months Pregnant!

This weekend Anna got to go to visit her grandparents since Auntie Ang was driving that way and JuJu was planning to come here Monday while Mark is gone for a week.  She is having a wonderful time and got to attend her cousin, Daniel's 1st birthday party.  While the Anna was away, Mark & I played... we have been to see a movie, been out to a fancy steak dinner and a couple other things.  I also got the hall closet cleaned and Anna's 2nd birthday present put together... she's getting this two-seater wagon :)  Today I still have to clean out the nursery closet (and take a nap, of course).

Arbor Hills Nature Preserve Playgroup

Today our playgroup went to the Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano.  It was a little cool this morning, but great weather.  We had a nice walk around the paved trail and I barely managed to keep up with the girls, but I did it :)

Conveniently located at the end of the walk was a very nice little playground area that the kids enjoyed.  We had a fun day and took a good nap when we got home!

Happy Easter from the Carrolls!

Our Easter started a little too early at 4:30 when Anna decided to get up!!  So, we watched a little tv before we came down to see what the Easter bunny brought.  Actually she wanted  breakfast before she could even look at what the bunny brought... so we had breakfast then went to see what was in the basket...

Since we were up so early, we made it to the 8am service at church.  It was lovely and reminded us what Easter is all about.  Then we headed over to see what we could have for brunch.  We ended up at The Cheesecake Factory about 30 mins before brunch started, so we wandered around the pretty landscaped area there close by.  Anna had a great time running around while Daddy tried to keep up with her.

Mark had the eggs benedict and they were fabulous!!  Anna and I shared a breakfast sandwich that was very yummy.

We made it home before noon and Anna is now watching her Veggie Tales Easter video and hopefully is about to settle down for a nice Easter Sunday afternoon nap!!!  Oh and her Mommy is eating her yellow chocolate Easter duck... I let her open it, but she didn't want it and is enjoying a marshmallow sucker, so Luke gets the duck!!

Today Anna got to participate in another fun egg hunt... it was beautiful weather and lots of good friends... she enjoyed it!

We even got in a family shot... please pardon my un-ladylike sitting... but it's getting more difficult to be ladylike :)

A Trip to Visit the Bunny and Dyeing Easter Eggs

Today Auntie Ang came to join us for a visit to the bunny. Anna didn't like him very much. :)

Then we dyed some Easter eggs! 

Anna did a great job!  They were supposed to be glittery, but that didn't work out very well.  Oh well... she had fun. :)
