A Day at the Gym

Today we were supposed to go have a picnic with our playgroup, but it was raining and lightning at the time, so we diverted to this gym.

Anna mostly just wanted to play in the foam pit!  I told her if she got stuck, I didn't think I could come in and get her!

Here she is pretending to sleep in the foam pit.

Then popping up to say 'Surprise!'

And here she is on the trampoline... she thought this was loads of fun.  Good thing she wasn't taking a field sobriety test.

Finally to the 70s!!!

Yesterday was a gorgeous one that got into the 70s, so we played in one fun park in the morning...

And our neighborhood park in the afternoon.  Anna has decided she likes the trees better than the playground.  Here she's collecting acorns.

And here she's back to tree-hugging... and this time with Auntie Ang!

A Day Out with Thomas the Train

Today we went to the train station in Grapevine, TX to ride Thomas the Train.  Here Anna is ready to go!

Before our ride, we did some of the other activities... here we played with some trains...

Then we bounced in the bounce house...

Then we rode a pony... that Anna named Tara.

Then we did the hokey pokey...

Then it was time for our train ride!

We really need to work on Anna's 'cheese'!  haha

We didn't get a picture of the front of the train that was decked out to look like Thomas, because Anna started a fit towards the end of the train ride that I think was because she wanted a balloon that was part of the decorations inside the train.  She kept throwing a fit all the way to the car because she wanted to walk instead of ride in her stroller.  She kept screaming 'walking!  walking!'.  It was our worst fit ever... she finally calmed down on the way home.  Oh me!  At least we had a bunch of fun before our ride!

More Park Fun!

Earlier today, we met our friends for lunch at the park and played for a bit.  It was a nice sunny day, but the park was a bit windy.  The girls had fun, though.  Here they are sharing a swing...

And then Anna thought it would be fun to hold hands.  Rachel thought it was a great idea, too... they stayed that way for quite awhile!

Another Sunshine Day takes us to the Sandbox!!

Today was a lovely sunshine-y day, so after nap we played outside in the sandbox.  I decided to re-enact this photo of my mom when she was pregnant with me.  She was about 1 month from my due date and I'm about 2 months from Luke's.

In this one, I am not sure if Anna was pretending to sleep or enjoying the feel of the cool sand on her cheek...

Another Sunny Day!!!

We had another beautiful sunny day today, so off we went to the park after nap!  Anna had much fun.  YEA for sunshine!!
