Good Ol' Picture

Some of my readers may recall I did a series quite some time ago with old pictures of my family. Well, this one was newly aquired from my aunt and couldn't be ignored. :D It is a favorite of my dad - these are his parents... and notice the 'friendly' dog that made it into the picture.

Getting out the Highchair

Anna's going to be starting solid foods soon, so I decided to get out her highchair and let her start sitting in it some :) 'Why am I in this crazy contraption, Mommy?'

Fabulous Ergo Baby Carrier

Anna is now big enough for the Ergo Baby Carrier without the infant insert. I've used it the last couple of days and love it!! I've just used it around the house so far, but it is going to be great for many things like walks and trips to the store and such. She has seemed to enjoy it and has also taken some great naps in it! Hooray! She is very cute when she looks up at me from inside. I will have someone take a pic of both of us while she is in the carrier, but for now, this is me taking a pic while she's in it :)

Waskom Weekend

This past weekend, we went to good ole Waskom to visit the grandparents. Anna had a lovely time visiting with Granny Janny, Grandpa Ho Ho, JuJu, and Papa. She also got to see Julie and Aunt Barbara and lots of folks at church like Grammastine and Poppy. I got some fun photos with her Papa.... He is an excellent babysitter. :) Here Anna is trying to figure out if she likes being on Papa's tummy. Or maybe she is distracted by his hair?

And here, Anna was worn out from the weekend and decided she could even sleep sitting up while Papa and her Daddy watched football.Here maybe she is practicing how to dance a jig? She is all ready to go to church in the cute outfit her Auntie Ang gave her!

I have been doing Weight Watchers for a few weeks now. I get 34 points per day and if I wasn't breastfeeding, that would only be 22. The above nutritional info equals 57 points. Yes, that's nearly 3 whole days, if I wasn't breastfeeding... now, can you guess what this 'nutritional' info is for? A 'Plain Jane' baked potato at Jason's Deli. Yes, it's large, but it's a baked potato that has cheese, butter, bacon, green onions and sour cream on it. Wow... the other day, I was also looking up items at Chili's. The Awesome Blossom (deep fried onion) equalled 70 points. :O

Good news: I've lost about 6 lbs and have worn a couple pre-pregnancy items of clothing. I still have 3 lbs to go til I reach my pre-pregnancy weight. Then I still have about 20 lbs to go... :|

Anna says 'Happy Grandparent's Day!'

Anna is very excited to wish her grandparents a Happy Grandparent's Day!! Hope you all enjoyed it!! :D I am having a nice nap on Daddy's lap :)

A Damsel in Distress

What're we doing, Mom? This is a fun playgroup... The kids are fun to watch... I'll get to play with them soon when I can crawl and stuff! Uh, Mom... the train is coming... could I get a little help here? Remember how I can't roll to my tummy or crawl, yet.... Mom??

Teething? Sure!

I think we've come to the point where we are going to have to wear a bib... alot... there seems to be a constant drool now. Is she teething? Who knows?!? But now we can always claim she is whenever she's fussy... right?
