The New Smile

Yesterday just before we headed to church, Anna was playing with Baby Daniel's new Eeyore... I pulled out the camera and right away, she made this face. I love it! :)We tried again later and as soon as she saw the red eye light, she grinned again. heehee

Cabinet Robber

This morning, Anna was playing on the kitchen floor while JuJu made pancakes. She figured out how to open the cabinet and get herself a tea kettle. She was so proud!

Christmas in Louisiana

Today we went to Louisiana to have Christmas with my mom's family. Anna really enjoyed playing with her cousins. Here she is with Katie and Jacey. Anna and Jacey are both having a little snack of a foam letter.
And apparently we were all supposed to wear black and white stripes, but only Auntie, Anna and Stacey remembered!
Here's Anna with Katie and Kellie.
Here's a cute one of Auntie and Jacey.

And Time for Cheer....

Anna had a wonderful Christmas... this was a book she got on Christmas Eve.And here she is opening her presents on Christmas morning. She, of course, enjoyed the paper the most!

Here, she needed a couple more hands to play with all her new stuff, but she made do.

Christmas Day night, we opened some more presents and this was a dress her JuJu made. This is something I gave Baby Daniel. Stephen is saying, 'Oh, bother...'.

Christmas, Christmas time is here...

Today we went to have a little Christmas get together with some of my high school friends and their kids. My friend Melanie made this cute dress for Anna!Anna had crazy naps all day and finally crashed in Auntie Ang's lap. :) Marley crashed for a little bit in Amy's lap. Caden decided she looked cold, so he covered her up with some wrapping paper. heehee
Nathan and Caden had a bit of fun on the computer. They were very intent, but stopped to smile for a picture.Amy got Anna and Marley these cute bracelets!!

Anna sure had fun playing with everyone and her Mom had fun visiting!

More Motivation

Anna has found the Christmas tree and presents...

I'll have a laptop, please!

Anna has been able to kinda scoot backwards for awhile, but we hadn't seen her be able to move in a forward motion... until today when she wanted Mark's laptop. I guess she just wasn't motivated until that. Even the sparkly tree and newly wrapped presents under it don't tempt her like the laptop. Pretty soon, the three of us will be upstairs in our recliners, each with a laptop on our laps. :)

Christmas Fun!

Tonight we went out with our friends to eat and to the Frisco town square to look at their lights and see what was going on. We had fun! Anna had fun hanging out with her friend Rachel, too... Here, you can see they are holding hands in the car. We loaded Anna's seat into their Suburban and it was a good test run for them, since they'll be having their 2nd baby on Monday. YEA!

Wascally Wabbit

Tonight, Auntie Ang came over to babysit so Mark and I could see our first movie together since Anna was born. We saw Australia and it was pretty good. Anna had a fun time... Auntie Ang took some pictures and this one was humorous... first of all, cause I hadn't gotten all the sweet potatoes off of poor Anna's nose and Ang didn't notice til after she took a bunch of pics. Second, because it appears as though she has some nice bunny rabbit teeth here... ?? heehee I love my little wascally wabbit!

Still Thankful!

I don't think I mentioned them in my Thanksgiving post, but I am thankful for so many things! Maybe that's why... because there were too many to name!! But this picture I took of the decorated Christmas tree and Anna reminded me that I am thankful for sweet, crafty friends who make cute things for my daughter! :) Her bow was made by my friend, Amanda (it has fun snowflakes on it) and the dress was made by my friend, Melanie. Melanie even has a website where you can check out her stuff and place an order -
Made by MelAs you can tell by her expression, Anna loves her new dress. Thanks, Mel!

It's Beginning to look alot like...

Anna is getting in to the Christmas spirit. When I just had the bottom layer on the tree, she had already rolled under it and was touching branches. Here are a couple before the ornaments were on... Oh, and that is her John Deere outfit... some of you may can guess where she got that!
P.S. No, despite how it looks in the picture, I have not dyed her hair red! heehee

Happy 70th, Daddy!!

Today, my Daddy turned 70! He doesn't look a day over 50, does he??

Mom made a cute book on Shutterfly for his birthday and here is a good photo that was in it... me and Dad in the early days:

We had a little party for him this evening and had a good time. Here's a lovely picture of Julie and Anna at the party.

And Anna showed everyone her favorite thing to do right now... (it doesn't take much to entertain us!!)

It was a lovely evening!!

Giving Thanks!

Anna couldn't quite wait for her lunch til 2pm when we had Thanksgiving, so she ate her Sweet Potatoes and Corn baby food at 12. She was very thankful. Then Uncle Stephen entertained her for a bit. He practiced babysitting, but didn't want to practice a diaper change!

Then during actual Thanksgiving, she had some fruit :) She was thankful again.
Tonight, I am very thankful because my mom kept Anna while we went to the Mudbugs game with Ang, Stephen and Nicole... and she is keeping her all night!! This is her first night away from me and the first time I'll have to set an alarm in a LONG time!! Thank you JuJu!! See you in the morning :D

Lunch at Chick-fil-a

Today I met some of my high school friends for lunch at Chick-fil-a. It was great to see everyone! I was too busy eating and playing babies to get very many pictures, but here is one of me and Marley. :)

I've Been Framed!!

Anna got into the packing material for her daddy's playstation 3... and framed herself!

Bass Pro Santa Baby

Yesterday, we went to the Bass Pro Shop, where my father-in-law is Santa this season. I'm not putting up the ones with him, in case I use them on something I mail out... :) But here's a couple shots in the Sonic afterwards... I love this face :)
And then we couldn't miss this photo op as we left. :D

A Weekend in New Orleans

This weekend, Mark's co-worker was having a surprise 30th birthday in New Orleans, so we decided to go. Anna and I didn't make the dinner because it was at her bedtime, but Mark had fun and then Saturday, we walked around and saw lots of things. Here is a picture in the Old US Mint. And a picture in the carriage before we took a carriage ride around the French Quarter. Anna did wake up and stare at the lady giving us the tour almost the entire trip. And here she is posing with Willie Brown after the tour. This was in the courtyard of our hotel. On the way back, we made just a slight detour so we could have a rest and visit with some of my family in Louisiana. While we were there, I decided Anna needed to have her first haircut (just a little trim) from my Aunt Becky. Here we are after the haircut... Aunt Becky, Kellie, me, Anna, Shae and Aunt Rita.Anna did really good on the drive down and back, but I didn't bring her enough things to entertain her. But... as you can see, she found something beside her to play with. If you don't know what it is, I won't tell you... doesn't she look proud of herself for finding a new toy?

JuJu & Papa are home!

We picked JuJu and Papa up from the airport last night around 6:30pm. They had a lovely trip and had lots of nice pictures and stories. Anna got a couple of souvenirs. Here she is with her hat and wooden shoes. :) I think she likes her hat! And she of course wanted to eat her shoes.
